Openings will occur on the Housing Board, Human Relations Commission, Industrial Development Authority, McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission, Scottsdale Pride Commission and Transportation Commission.

Applications should be submitted by Friday, Dec. 28, to give Council members adequate time for review. The Council will nominate from the applicant pool on Jan. 22. Those nominated will be interviewed on Feb. 12. Following the interviews, the Council will appoint residents to three-year terms, or in the case of the Industrial Development Authority, six-year terms.

Current members who have completed a first term are eligible for reappointment for a second term.

The application form, which is valid for one year, can also be emailed to interested residents who call the City Clerk's office at 480-312-2412, or may be picked up in the City Clerk's office in City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
