Spelling Bee finalists head for showdown |
Elementary and middle school students who won their school-based competition will compete in the 2008 SUSD spelling bee, which will be held Jan. 15 in the auditorium at Arcadia High School. Registration of competitors begins at 8 a.m., followed by a practice round at 8:30 a.m. Photos may only be taken during the practice round.
The top-two winners from the SUSD bee will face off against other Arizona elementary school district winners at the regional bee, hosted by Scottsdale Community College on Feb. 11 in the Performing Arts Theater. Same times and rules apply.
