New art center unveiled at CHS |
Coronado High School dedicated its new Eugene L. Hanson Auditorium on March 19 and also unveiled the re-constructed Gatti Mosaic. The ceremony included performances by the band, choir and the Dancing Donettes.
An Open House followed the ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of the mosaic; attendees were able to visit the new drama classroom, DoNews television studio/classroom, the dance studio, and the band, orchestra and choral classrooms.
The grand opening show in the new Eugene L. Hanson Auditorium will be held April 3-5. The performing arts disciplines will produce an evening of Broadway selections.
