Fine's Cellar hosts red wines of summer tasting

Fine’s Cellar, Old Town Scottsdale’s premier wine, dine and retail destination will dazzle diners’ senses with an afternoon tasting of classic red wines for the summer season on Saturday, May 24. Featuring a selection of 35 to 40 light and refreshing red wines hand picked by owner and Valley wine expert, Michael Fine, guests will discover that summer is not just a time for sipping whites and rosés. Complimenting the sampling of summer reds will be a medley of savory dishes from Chef Cullen Campbell’s upscale barbeque tasting menu that will include his mouthwatering Short Rib Sliders, Smoked Pork Rillette, Truffled Potato Salad and Mushroom Kabobs. In addition to an abundance of wine and food tastes, each guest will receive a souvenir Reidel “O” wine glass and a $10 gift certificate towards any purchase at Fine’s Cellar that day. The tasting takes place 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Fine’s Cellar, 7051 E. 5th Ave. (at Marshall Way). Cost is $25 per person includes 35 to 40 wine tastings, a souvenir Riedel “O” wine glass, food and a $10 coupon towards any purchase at Fine’s Cellar that day.
