Register now for youth sports

Scottsdale’s Youth Sports program is gearing up for fall sports for youth in fourth through eighth grades.  This program is offered at all Scottsdale public schools as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Participants play for a team representing their school. Basic sport fundamentals, positive peer interaction and good sportsmanship are the foundation of this program. Coaches are certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. Practices will be held two days each week after school on school grounds with games being played Friday evenings and Saturday mornings or early afternoons. Designated practices begin the week of Sept. 22 with games running Oct. 3 through Nov. 22. Registration closes on Monday, Sept. 15. League fee is $45 for Scottsdale residents; $68 for non-residents, and includes a jersey. For more information, call Youth Sports at 480-312-7657.
