United Nations Association announces its 2009 National High School Essay Contest. Students in 9th through 12th grades are invited to submit a 1,500-word essay on “What Can the U.S. Do To Help Ensure Environmental Sustainability?” Prizes are: First Place: $1,500 and a trip to New York City; Second Place $1,000; and Third Place $500.
